austria was cleannnn, it was a lot of white buildings , and someone told me the culture was in a phase of “emulating its traditional roots,” like there was a fetishization of tradition in the middle of this global, post-modern, anti-european sentiment that’s going on. . . so folklore, paganism, heritage, r all back in style
